Defending the Euro – Organ transplants – Equal treatment for the self-employed
The EPP Group led a debate on increasing economic governance as the key to resolving the euro crisis at its second May plenary session. MEPs also adopted new quality and safety standards for organ transplants and introduced maternity leave and increased social protection rights for the self-employed and their assisting spouses.
