Hair Loss During Pregnancy – Causes and Prevention

Generally, most women have thick, lustrous hair during the pregnancy period and experience hair fall after delivery. Although, in some cases, women experience hair loss during pregnancy. Do not worry. It is just a phase, and it will pass soon. Do not forget to take some extra care of your hair during this beautiful yet delicate period.

Pregnancy hair loss is less common as pregnant women usually have thicker, luscious hair. The hair growth cycle pauses in the resting period, delaying the hair fall cycle until delivery. During this period, hair loss may be because of vitamin or mineral deficiency in your body. This video will help you know more about the causes and prevention of hair loss during pregnancy. Although, we recommend that you consult your doctor if you are facing excess hairfall.
